Per pirmąją savaitę aplankiau keletą vietų: Marsliden ir Fatmomakke. Pakeliui i Marsliden sustojau pasigrožėti slenksčių upe. Marsliden apžiūrėjau gamtos muziejų, atvirą kiekvienam: autentišką namuką.
Nuo čia Norvegija netoli, tik apie 60 gerų švediškų mylių. Nors Laplandijoje kalnai nėra tokie aukšti ir aštrių formų kaip Norvegijoje, tačiau žvelgiant į juos atstumas rodos tolimas ir jie sunkiai įveikiami.

First week of my coming to Saxnas I visited Marsliden and Fatmomakke.
By the way to Marsliden got impression on the river-waterfall. In Marsliden I went to the nature open museum - house of old living history.
Strong impression for me left Fatmomakke. Fatmomakke, or Faetmie in South Sami has been a meeting place for Sami people since at least the 18th century. Here, on an ancient Same meeting place, the first church was built in the 18th cebtury. In the 19th century settlers came to live and farm in the area.
